ENLIGHTENMENT
When the pandemic hit, it stopped many if not all routines. We, the world, had to adjust ourselves and our surroundings for this event. How we live, where we live, where we work, what we do for work. What it means to be a kid, an adult, how everything in life lead up to this moment, where I’m writing this and you’re reading what I wrote.
We realize what’s important; sometimes it takes losing it all to see. After all we must lose ourselves to find ourselves.
These events, the change, the “pause”, coronavirus put on life allowed us an opportunity to not focus on outside factors distracting us. It kept us indoors, it allowed us to look within ourselves.
To have a better understanding of self. The pandemic was a blessing in disguise, that I think a year later we’re beginning to see.
It allowed us to ask questions like; what’s my purpose, where do I belong. To become more in-touch with self, to define individuality.
Question not only the world & system(s), but most importantly to question you. “Why do I react this way”, “how do I become a better me”, “what needs healing”, “what characteristics about myself may be holding myself back”.
As humans, we’re trained to look ahead. After many important holidays/events, were canceled and 2020 coming to an end. Our default setting of looking forward, and a the new constructed year of 2021 rolling in. 2021 was the year of rebirth and renewal for, might I say all of us. And we have 2020 to thank for that renewal.
Nothing is promised, as we look in and look ahead, we have a new sense of self. A new sense of hope for this new world. As we all know we can’t move backwards nor should we want to, growth is what life’s about.
We needed change, so the world changed, so did we, as we grow, as we evolve so will our surroundings.
So, evolve
Be open.
Find yourself!
Be AWARE.
“Open your mind to possibilities. We live in an infinite universe, where anything is possible” – Unknown
This pandemic has created more open-minded people, changing their lives for their own sake. “Woke” culture might I say, truly woke, no trend, no aesthetic, this will only continue. So, ARE YOU OPEN TO RECEIVE?
